Welcome to RouteGO. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RouteGO mobile application ("App") provided by RouteGO ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using RouteGO, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

RouteGO is a route optimization application that helps you plan efficient multi-stop routes. The App:

  • Calculates optimized routes to minimize travel time or distance
  • Supports up to 30 stops per route
  • Integrates with Apple Maps and Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation
  • Offers premium features through subscription plans

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RouteGO. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account and Device Requirements

3.1 Apple ID

The App requires an Apple ID for:

  • Downloading from the App Store
  • In-app purchases and subscriptions
  • iCloud sync (premium feature)

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.

3.2 Device Requirements

  • iOS 17.0 or later
  • Location Services enabled for full functionality
  • Internet connection for certain features

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Free Trial

New users receive a 3-day free trial with full access to all features. The trial begins when you first launch the App. No payment is required during the trial period.

4.2 Subscription Plans

After the trial expires, premium features require a subscription:

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

  • Monthly and Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
  • Your Apple ID will be charged within 24 hours before the current period ends
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings

4.4 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through Apple's subscription management
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to premium features until the subscription expires
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

4.5 Subscription Lapse

If your subscription expires:

  • You can view previously saved routes (read-only)
  • You cannot optimize new routes
  • You cannot save new routes
  • iCloud sync will be disabled

4.6 Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Free Features

Without an active subscription, you may:

  • View the App interface
  • Access previously saved routes (read-only, if any exist from a prior subscription)

6. Premium Features

With an active subscription, you may:

  • Optimize routes with up to 30 stops
  • Save unlimited routes
  • Sync routes across devices via iCloud
  • Lock stops to specific positions
  • Choose between fastest and shortest optimization
  • Access all travel modes (driving and walking)

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • Use automated means to access or collect data from the App
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App
  • Use the App to plan routes for illegal activities

8. Location Services

8.1 Permission

The App requires location access ("When In Use") to function properly. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings, but certain features will be unavailable.

8.2 Accuracy

Location accuracy depends on your device's GPS capabilities and environmental factors. We do not guarantee location accuracy.

9. Route Optimization

9.1 Algorithm

RouteGO uses computational algorithms to optimize routes. While we strive for accuracy, the optimized routes are suggestions and may not always represent the absolute best route due to:

  • Real-time traffic conditions
  • Road closures or construction
  • Map data accuracy
  • Algorithm limitations

9.2 Navigation

Route navigation is provided through Apple Maps or Google Maps (based on your preference). We are not responsible for:

  • Directions provided by Apple Maps or Google Maps
  • Navigation errors or inaccuracies
  • Traffic or road conditions
  • Accidents or incidents during navigation

You are responsible for safe driving and should always follow applicable traffic laws.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Our Rights

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and content, is owned by RouteGO and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

10.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of routes and data you create. By using iCloud sync, you grant us permission to store and transmit your data through Apple's services solely to provide the sync functionality.

10.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use such feedback for any purpose.

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services:

  • Apple Maps: For route calculations and navigation
  • Google Maps: For turn-by-turn navigation (optional alternative to Apple Maps)
  • Apple iCloud: For data synchronization
  • Apple StoreKit: For subscription management
  • PostHog: For product analytics and session replay
  • Firebase Analytics (Google): For event tracking and advertising attribution
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google): For crash reporting and diagnostics
  • Facebook SDK (Meta): For advertising attribution

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ROUTE CALCULATIONS
  • UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will meet your specific requirements
  • Routes will be optimal for all circumstances
  • The App will be available at all times
  • Errors or defects will be corrected

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTEGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of the App
  • Any damages arising from route suggestions or navigation
  • Service interruptions or data loss

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RouteGO, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Routes you create or actions you take based on App suggestions

15. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
  • Change features, pricing, or subscription terms
  • Update these Terms

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Termination

16.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any active subscriptions.

16.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abuse the App or its services

16.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the App is revoked
  • You remain responsible for any outstanding subscription payments
  • Provisions that should survive termination (such as Limitation of Liability) remain in effect

17. Governing Law and Disputes

17.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which RouteGO operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

17.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RouteGO regarding the App.

21. Apple-Specific Terms

As required by Apple:

  • These Terms are between you and RouteGO, not Apple
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
  • Apple is not responsible for any product warranties
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms

These Terms of Use are effective as of February 14, 2026.
